AI Disclosure
How the assistant on Porto intakes works, and what it does not do.
What it is
Software built on large language models, set up by Porto for each client with that client’s questions and approved information. Each client chooses the model: the Porto model, which runs on an open model, or Claude by Anthropic on the Plus and Premium options. Conversations are never used to train any model.
What it does
Asks qualifying questions, answers from the information the client approved, writes a summary of the conversation and suggests a fit score.
What it doesn’t do
It doesn’t give legal, medical or financial advice, agree prices, sign anything or make final decisions about anyone.
People involved
The client’s team reviews every lead. Visitors can ask for a person at any point in the conversation.
Telling people it’s AI
The assistant says it is an AI in its first message. This meets transparency rules such as Article 50 of the EU AI Act, which applies from August 2, 2026, and clients can’t turn it off.
Reporting a problem
If the assistant said something wrong or inappropriate, email ai@porto.work and we will look into it within two business days.
